Wellness 12 Course #025
Semester - 2.5 credits Wellness 12 is a required course for all grade 12 students. Building on skill development from Wellness 9, 10, and 11, this course will provide students opportunities to demonstrate strategies to prevent, manage, and resolve interpersonal conflicts safely. Content and skills from our former Personal Safety elective course will now be accessible to all students! Seniors will develop skills for independent healthy meal planning and personalized exercise programming in order to reach their individual health goals. The course will culminate with an advocacy project through which students will help others in the school and community to make positive health choices. Physical activities offered through a personalize selection process will provide seniors the ability to take an active role in mapping out their wellness experience. One semester of Wellness 12 with a passing grade is required for graduation. |
